Admit it: it's better than President's Day

Yesterday was Valentine's Day; The Holiday Just About Everyone Loves To Hate. It seems like everyone has something to hate about The Day of Cupid. If you're single, you hate the fact that there's a holiday solely dedicated to couples being as soppy and saccharine-sweet as possible. If you're in a relationship, you question as to why your significant other needs an official day marked on the calendar to show you how they feel about you.

So while many of us may dread February 14th, we all really like February 15th. Why? It's Half-Off Chocolate Day, that's why!

Yep, all those bags of chocolate that have been cluttering up the aisles at your local grocery store and boxes arranged in the window of your local chocolate shop go on sale today, so you can march your happy buns on out there and get yourself some yummy chocolate for cheap. Who doesn't love that?

And since I'm willing to bet you all know where this is headed, let's get to the hats, shall we?

You've got to love the fact that the decorator for this cake went out of her way on that hat at the top.

Aww, look at the little construction hats, all made out of chocolate. They almost look too cute to eat. (Note that I said "almost".)

Ditto that for these little edible sun hats. Bonus points for the little candy flowers and ribbons.

And now, for the pièce de résistance, we have wearable chocolate hats. Ta-da!

Well, maybe not really wearable, as that, y'know, chocolate melts and stuff, and I don't even want to think about trying to wash tons of melted chocolate out of my hair. But they were made to rest on a person's pate; that much is obvious.

By the way, you really need to click on this last one and see it at it's biggest. It's astounding all the work that was put into making these chocolate hats. I just wish I knew who the heck made them.
