
When it comes to food-related hat decorations, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that cherries were the oldest ones in the book. With their distinctive bright-red coloring and pleasingly delicate little shape, cherries and cherry patterns have been adorning hats for a long time and will most likely continue to do so for even longer.

...Not sure why, but this hat is reminding me a lot of the character Ado Annie from the film version of the musical Oklahoma! Not that that's a bad thing or anything; it's just the first thought that pops into mind.
