Robot cupcakes. Frosted baked goods never looked so, um, good.
As of Sunday, this blog will officially be one year old. So as an early "holy-crap-you've-been-doing-this-regularly-for-almost-an-entire-year" cookie for me, I'm posting robot hats.
You're welcome to check them out too, you know.
If A.) you have munchkins of the very tiny variety and B.) have cable, you probably have a far better idea of what Yo Gabba Gabba! is all about. For myself, I'm just digging this robot hat based off of one of the characters.
With hats like these, The Fuzzy Robot may have just become my most favorite store on Etsy EVER.
Not really sure what K-Botics are, but apparently they involve teams and--in one case that I'm aware of--they have their very own custom-made hats, two of which I share below:
Bet your high school letter jacket seems a little less cool by comparison now, doesn't it?
This one I like purely for the knobs sticking out on the sides. It kinda gives it a Frankenstein's monster kind of feel.

Like this kid's robot hat? Want one of your own? Here's the pattern.
You're welcome.
Apparently at one point in time, the BBC had robots. So I suppose it makes sense that there would have been robot hats, based on the BBC's robots.
And finally, what kind of robot hat post would this be if I neglected to include that most dearly loved of all animated robots, Invader Zim's GiR?
And no, I didn't forget GiR's iconic dog disguise. And neither did the afore-depicted lady:
See you next week!

Of course the BBC has robots. Haven't you heard of Dr. Who??
ReplyDeleteYeah, but those aren't Daleks; Daleks look more like roboticized ziggurats.
