Regular owl art not enough for you anymore? How's about an owl painting that was once part of a major art instillation? If that strikes your fancy, then IDILLARD Functional Designs has definitely got your number.
...So, you might have noticed that today's amuse-bouche is of an owl, which is generally a good sign that today's post is going to be yet another one about owl hats. That's because it is, and before you get annoyed and hit the back button on your browsers, Internets, I would like to say that I have a very good reason why today's post is about owl hats.
See, a lady by the name of Charlotte runs a shop called Hoo Hats, and she actually sent me an email about it. And since it says somewhere off to the left that pretty much guarantees that submissions will make it onto the site, I'm honor-bound to do so.
Also, it helps that her hats are rather cute. Just take a look:
See what I mean? And they're upcycled to boot, so they're, y'know, environmentally-friendly and stuff. You should definitely go click over to her shop and check it out.
And since it would be really lazy of me to post one lonely little hat and call it a day, here's a few others I've come across recently.
Not only do I like the cheerful color of this one, but I particularly like the level of detail on the owl applique. And by "detail" I mean "OMG BUTTONS FOR EYES--SO EFFING CUTE." And yes, that required Caps Lock.
Yes, I know this is actually a headband. But seeing as I managed to get away with doing an entire post on those, I feel totally okay with posting this singular one. Particularly since it fits in so well with today's theme and all.
And speaking of headbandy-type things, after seeing this fascinator, it felt only right to close up today's post with it, as you will shortly see:
Because dang it, there need to be more fascinators with googly eyes. That is something I could totally get behind.
See you Wednesday!
