Yeah--it doesn't get any more basic than a print of two crochet hooks and a ball of yarn.
According to my calculations/short-term memory, it's been a good while since I last wrote some posts that cast the spotlight on some awesome shop or another. And seeing as this is a new month and all and I seem to be a sucker for themes, I'm thinking now would be an excellent time to bring that back and write one of those puppies every seven days or so.
So this month, Wednesdays will be the day of the week where we'll be looking at what I consider to be The Best Little Shop On Etsy (This Week.) And to kick this off, we'll be looking at d3, AKA dana dooley designs, who's got some lovely bits of crocheted goodness on display.*
For example:
There's this Zoidberg hat, which I'm thinking no good Futurama fan should be without. I mean, I suppose that they can be without, but their lives are going to be a lot emptier for it. Just sayin'.
There's also this crocheted viking hat which, while lacking in bearditude, is still rad.
And if you're thinking that these hats are looking just a tad familiar but can't put your finger on why/how, maybe this next hat will jog your memory:
Yep, this shop is where I found one of the kitty hats I posted back in January. And for the record, they've got plenty more where those two came from, and in a wide variety of colors, too.
And just because I couldn't resist the reference, here's an owl hat to go with the pussycat hat above:
You'll have to supply your own pea-green boat, though.
And that's just a small sampling of d3's wares, and you should do yourself a favor and wander over there and check out their shop, because it really is The Best Little Shop On Etsy (This Week.)
See you Friday!
* Bet you were wondering where the amuse-bouche was going to come into play, weren't you? Well, it was right about there.

This. Made. My. NIGHT!
ReplyDeleteSo I hear I was, checking my Etsy shop stats. I just posted a piggy hat, and wanted to see how it was doing... then I see I have a view from a blogspot blog, and I'm intrigued... I go to the web address and BAM! d3 hats galore!
So, thank you for the hat love. It is very, very encouraging, and it makes me feel bad-ass. All the more, as I am a one-woman operation who crochets as a means of coping with the stress of grad school. Hurray for a creative outlet!
It also touches my heart that you featured one of my kitty hats back in Jan -- I donate 100% of kitty hat sales to a Sacramento-based cat rescue group with whom I volunteer. :)
You, my dear friend, am now bookmarked. Thanks so much again.
Aw, you're welcome and I'm glad you liked it!
