I know it's a matter of personal taste, but I adore this thing like Koko the gorilla adores kittens.
....Or starbursts, at least where they apply to starburst galaxies. Which, I might add, is precisely the theme of today's post, because it's been a while since I did an astronomy-themed post around here.
First up, there's this felt star-and-celestial-sphere headband, which I kinda like. Particularly because it's got that brightly contrasting PANK stitching, which just pops in the most perfect way ever.
Then there's this Fair Isle knit beanie, which is apparently called a "North Star" design. I'm just liking the alternating colors of the stars themselves, as well as the fact that it looks slouchy without being uberslouchy.
But if you prefer your stars to actually sparkle, you can't go wrong with a glittery headband like this one. As to whether or not you want to do your makeup to match is up to you.
This mini beret may not be as shimmery as the headband above, but you can't say it isn't "star-studded."
Oh, yeah--I just wrote a really bad pun. DEAL WITH IT.
And just because I like the bookend-iness of it, here's a retro starburst fascinator, all golden and glittery-like:
Also, it may just be the best thing I've seen all day, and saving the best for last is how I roll.
See you Wednesday!
