Is it just me, or does this print remind anyone of the Instagram icon?
I mean that in a good way, but still--anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
As it's often said, life is what happens when you're making other plans. This past weekend was a refresher course in that, as that within 24 hours of putting up Friday's sick day post, TH, three house guests and I--admittedly not feeling quite up to snuff--were on our way down to the farm to hang out with Grandpa Greene & Co.
And frankly, I'm okay with that. Especially since that meant I got to hang out with some of my favorite people, as well as being there in time to take this picture in the early-evening hours, the latter of which inspired today's post. Because nothing caps a weekend full of welcome surprises like a rainbow arcing across the sky.
First up is this not-quite-traditional rainbow-colored beanie, complete with flowery decorations. And even better, this a custom order hat, so you can choose any colors you like. Score!
Of course, if you prefer your rainbow-themed head gear to be a little more suited to summer weather, there's always lightweight little things out there like this starry rainbow headband, for instance.
I like the swooshiness of this veiled cocktail hat. And not just because I like the word "swooshy," either, although I will admit it is an awful lot of fun to say.
Like this glittery fascinator, but disappointed that it only features three colors of the rainbow? Then you'll be happy to learn that there's a coordinating one done solely in green, blue and violet.
And just because this just proves my theory that it's always a good time for cake, here's a rainbow cake fascinator:
It's the series of rosettes that make up the textured icing that really makes it for me. How about you?
And on that note, see you Wednesday!
