Back At The Pad

It's not often that I post a panoramic pic as a post's amuse-bouche
but I think this one deserves the honor (such as it is.)

Yep--you read/saw that right.  Today's post is all about lily pad hats, because why not?  And also because time is a little bit of the essence because I've got lots of family in town for the holiday right now and while I really want to spend time with them, I also need to post something today for you all so I'm splitting the difference with the best idea I've got and now this sentence is running on way too freakin' long so let's just start the post now, shall we?

*phew* Alright then.

First up is this tweed cocktail hat, featuring a teeny-tiny, little-bitty frog chilling out on one of the aforementioned lily pads.

If you prefer something a bit more along the lines of minimalist, there's this leather-and-lace lily pad headband, which is both snazzy and subtle.

But in case minimalism isn't your thing, then perhaps you'd be happier with this ginormous fascinator, complete with a big 'ol yellow dragonfly.

And just because abstracts are awesome, here's a sculpturally millinery take on today's theme:

I think it's the porcupine quill that really tips the scale over to the truly rad.

And on that note, see you Wednesday!
