Vegging Out

I've said it before and I'll say it again--food is always cuter when
it smiles back at you, and this veggie print is no exception.

Remember Monday, when I said it was a good thing that my brain's default setting wasn't "turnips"?  Well, Dana Dooley of dana dooley designs had this to say about that:

"...Now I want to see a post on turnip hats. :)"

Well, never let it be said that I don't take my readers' interests to heart, because I then went and looked around for some turnip hats, and this is what I found:

Yes, Internets, that is, in fact, a turnip hat--it even says so on the greenery bit.  Sadly, though, that was the only one I could find, and since I really do hate to post just one hat and call it a day, I'm going to pad stretch widen the scope of this post and add in some other vegetable hats, starting with this one:

Admittedly, that is a radish hat meant for newborns, but it's still awesome.  And as an added bonus, it comes with matching socks, so your baby can rock a completely hooked-up look if you want them to.

And speaking of baby hats...

Is this pea pod hat the cutest thing you've ever seen, or is it OMG THE CUTEST THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN?  Because like in so many other areas of life, emphasis is important.

Thanks to this hat, now anyone can be called a carrot top.  As to whether they'll find that as annoying as redheads seem to do is up for debate, though.

And while it's not a hat, I just couldn't resist posting this mixed veggie ring:

Because if statement jewelry is making a comeback like I keep hearing it's going to, you might as well go with a statement that would please your doctor/nutritionist/mom.

See you Friday!
