You know what's really tricky to find art of? The wrist. But thanks to this painting, I can
safely say I found one. If nothing else gets done this week, I can at least take comfort in that.
It's not often that I get to say that a post wrote itself, but I get to say that today, and I have Nerdifacts to thank for that. Why do I say that? Because I saw these wrist warmers last Friday:
And after suffering from a minor case of HOLY CRAP, I NEED THESE IN MY LIFE, I knew exactly what today's post was going to be about. Because who cares if it's too warm for wrist warmers just yet--these are still awesome at any time of year.
Maybe it's just a mood I'm going through, but lately I've been finding beaded stuff to be made of high-grade nifty at the moment. This green pair of wrist warmers also fall into that category.
Note: I have never watched a single episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender, but I am at least aware enough to know that to say it had a rather sizable following is a massive understatement. Which is why I figured I'd let folks know it is possible to get wrist warmers in the style of whatever form of elemental bending they like best.
You know what these are? These might just be the summeriest wrist warmers I've ever seen. Agree or disagree?
And because there's a seven-year-old version of me who would've desperately wanted a pair of these back in the 1980s, here's a pair of stegosaurus-inspired wrist warmers:
Oh, if only they'd had these back in the day. But hey, at least they're available now. And in adult sizes, to boot!
And on that note, that's it for this week, as that I'll be taking a short break from blogging in order to attend the wedding of a sibling of mine (Young Sis A, for those keeping track.) But I'll be back next week, I promise.
See you next week!
